ASTAXANTHIN
| ASTAXANTHIN |

|
Astaxanthin is a deep red colored pytonutrient micro
algae. When harvested from the algae and concen-
trated into a liquid, Astaxanthin becomes the most
powerful
anti-oxidant known to the natural world!
Its benefits are immeasureable. It possesses a
unique molecular structure
that gives it superior
antioxidant capacity.
Studies have shown:
· Astaxanthin is about 10 times more effective than carotene
·
Astaxanthin is 500 times more effect as Vitamin E
· Astaxanthin has greater anti-inflammatory
capacity than Vitamin E
· Astaxanthin has four times the antioxidant capacity of Lutein
·
Astaxanthin provides UVA and UVB light-induced oxidative stress protection
· Astaxanthin is
a better free radical than Carotene, Canthaxanthin and Zeaxanthin
· Astaxanthin enhances the activity of Vitamins C and E
· Astaxanthin
enhances the release of Retinol (Vitamin A) from the liver when needed

Our Hawaiian red algae, Astaxanthin, is the most powerful
natural
antioxidant available anywhere in the world. Clinically
shown to be 6000 times stronger than Vitamin C, 550 times
stronger than Vitamin E, 800 times stronger than CoQ10, 550
times stronger than Green Tea, 75 times stronger than
Alpha
Lipoic Acid, and 20 times stronger than beta-carotene in free
radical elimination. You can expect the absolute
best anti-
oxidant protection from free radicals that cause the breakdown
of the cell structure and the unwanted
fine lines, wrinkles, loss
of elasticity and moisture content of the skin.

In the past, Beta-carotene (provitamin A) and Vitamin E have
been extensively
studied. Recent focus, however, has switched
to other carotenoids such as astaxanthin, (derived from the
micro
algae Haematococcus pluvialis), which is shown to have
potent quenching and anti-lipid-peroxidation properties; a
weakness of Beta-carotene and Vitamin E (Miki, 1991).
In human trials, astaxanthin has been shown to reduce visible
signs of UV-aging through both topical and dietary
supplement-
ation within 4 to 6 weeks of use. This data is supported by a
number of in-vitro studies.
Research suggests Astaxanthin is capable of reducing oxidative
stress, showing potential skin benefits in maintaining
a youthful
appearance and reversing premature signs of aging.
