About Flawless Minerals
Flawless Minerals is a small family run business started
by our very own
Makeup Artist Amanda, who Specialized in
"Beauty Make Overs" since 1985. Originally started in CT,
the
company then relocated to Northern CA in early 2010.
Amanda worked exclusively with MAC products on her clients
for many years, until she switched over to Minerals in 2000.
Amanda started noticing that most
Minerals Makeup out there
only used the same 4 basic minerals...with some using the
skin irritant heavy metal Bismuth
Oxychloride. Not satisfied
with the flow, adherence and performance of some out there
and dissapointed
with the substandard ingredients on others,
she started researching mineral ingredients, efficacy and
formulations.
It was soon afterwards that she started making her own, determined to come up
with the absolute purest, by
using Up To Nine 100% Natural Minerals, certain skin
protecting botanicals & absolutely no talcs or fillers.....Offering
flawless coverage
while imparting a natural glow.Amanda couldn't WAIT to use them on her clients!
Her
clients were ecstatic with the minerals performance and raved about how great
their faces felt and looked. A born
"people pleaser", Amanda was more than happy
to oblige, when her customers and friends repeatedly asked
her to make her Minerals
makeup available to them. So In 2007, Flawless Minerals was born!
An "Eco Friendly" Organic Vegan, Amanda had been making her own Face/Body Butter Creams,
Gels,
Clay Masks, Scrubs and Body Butter Creams, since High School. The main reason was to
avoid chemical preservatives, perfumes
and unnecessary ingredients...She first started making
them for her own personal use & as gifts for
friends...
It was only natural (No Pun Intended), that she include these to Flawless Minerals as
well.
In 2008, while consulting and working with a local CT aesthetician, Amanda started formulating
all her face creams, serums and moisturizers with anti oxidants & anti wrinkle active
ingredients...while
maintaining a Chemical Free formulation!
Over the years, Amanda has become even more
"toxin and chemical conscious"..from using shower
water filters to elimininate toxic water contaminants
on the skin to being conscientious of organic
ingredients in her food. She believes that ones body is
the most vital organ we possess & our
skin is the most susceptable/vulnerable to topical poisins. Amanda
only uses her own products,
firmly standing by the belief that natural, organic & chemical free products
are the ONLY way to go!
Amanda is also available for in home cosmetic
parties, where she will
display all her products,
perform mini makeovers and answer all questions.
This is only available to residents
in the
Sacramento County, CA area.
Because she is still adamant in keeping the
products Chemical
Preservative Free.. we
"freshly" make each Cream, serum & mask
.. only when ordered! As soon as
you place
your order, we immediately formulate your
product and ship it out the next day.
