Zinc Oxide: While offering coverage and adhesion, this natural matte mineral is one of our
main ingredients offering maximum UV and sunburn protection from cancer causing UVA and
UVB Rays. This also helps to calm erythema in some skin conditions which may be caused by
rosacea, acne, cosmetic procedures or sunburn, to name a few. It is also extremely healing
for many skin irritations and is used in many skin care products including those used on a baby's
delicate skin. It can also provide an astringent effect for toning the skin.

Sericite Mica: This finely ground colorless mineral powder adds medium adhesion, a youthful
medium shine that reflects light, reducing the appearance of pores, fine lines and wrinkles.

Mica: This is a naturally occurring mineral possesses many earth tone shadesproviding the lum-
inescent glow, sparkle, shimmer, or a semi-matte appearance to products. They create the re-
duced appearance of fine lines by reflecting light, giving a “soft focus” to the skin and were used
centuries ago by the ancient Egyptians.

Magnesium Stearate: A fine white naturally occuring white alkaline magnesium salt
powder mineral improves adhesion and slip, while offering a matte high adhesion coverage.

Boron Nitride: This inert, non toxic ultra -trace light and silky mineral powder is an essen-
tial plant nutrient compound made from Boron. It is found in abundance in the Mineral Ore,
Borax which is then combined with Nitrogen to make Boron Nitride. Containing anti-bacterial
properties, it is used for its adhesion of the minerals, prevention of moisture loss, and to aid
in correcting problems for different skin types. We found this mineral to be far superior to any-
thing else available on the market today for achieving optimal results on the skin. BN powders
are very hydrophobic and extremely gentle for very sensitive skin types as well.

Silica: Along with offering excellent oil absorption, this ultra light white powder mineral has the
ability to scatter and reflect light (light diffusion properties), which seamlessly lightens or blurs
fine lines and wrinkles, making skin seem more flawless. It enables the minerals make-up to stay
on longer; much like creating a freshly applied look even after hours of application.

Kaolin Clay: This white Mineral is the purest and mildest of all clays and is translucent when
used in many skin formulations. It offers moisture control for keeping the skin fresh looking
after that workout. It also has nice oil absorbing properties without drying out the skin and helps
to reduce shine on the face. It does not pull the natural oils from the skin, but only absorbs ex-
cess so it can be used by those with dry skin as well for aiding in de-congesting pores. It also aids
in pulling toxins from the skin while leaving your face incredibly soft. Used alone, it makes an ex-
cellent primer for those with excessively oily skin.

Allantoin: This botanical extract powder is from Comfrey and the FDA has classified this ingredient
as a safe and effective skin protectant against Rosacea flare-ups, chapped, chafed, cracked, acne
prone and sunburned skin. It is used for its soothing anti-inflammatory, anti-bacterial properties.
It is known to produce rapid cell turnover (skin cell proliferation) by removal of necrotic tissue,
speeding up the overall healing of the skin. Allantoin is used especially for its natural healing
abilities for Acne and Rosacea.

Iron Oxides: These mineral pigments create the natural skin tone shades to our foundation/finish-
ing/bronzer powders and the beautiful rich pigments of our blushes and our eye shadows.

Rice Powder: We chose this botanical in place of cheap cornstarch in our Finishing Powder
Formulation due in part to its inert, lightweight, translucenceand slow oil absorbing properties.
It is excellent for women with rosacea and for those with acne. It is used in poultices for bringing
fast, soothing relief to skin ulcers or bleeding pimples in Ayurvedic Medicine(a Holistic form of
medicine originating in India.) It has nice moisture control from perspiration or humidity. It is a
skin softening emollient and gives a protective veil of silken, rose petal softness to the skin,
leaving your face with a porcelain shine free finish.

Silk Powder: used in our Finishing Powders, this natural moisture-adjusting "breathing" powder
is produced from high quality silk and is made up of 100% fibroin, which contains 18 kinds of amino
acids and trace elements essential to the human body, which are easily absorbed into the skin! It
has anti-bacterial properties, which helps maintain moisture levels in the skin, preventing dryness,
absorbing or releasing moisture as the temperature and humidity change. The crystalline structure
